A complete bathroom project inspired by the iconic design of Kartell together with the quality of Laufen. On one hand, Kartell, Italian, creative, colorful, and iconic. The family company that has marked the history of design and revolutionized furnishing in the use of plastic materials for over 60 years now.
On the other, Laufen, Swiss, rigorous, and reliable. For 125 years, a great commitment to making culture in the bathroom and innovation in the production of ceramic sanitary ware. It is a shared project of great innovation, which has required more than three years to develop, the result of the constant research that is part of the DNA of the two companies. Serving as the link between these two players are the award-winning designers Ludovica+Roberto Palomba, who themselves are leaders in designing for the bathroom.

For example, Laufen uses the waste heat generated in the production process to dry our ceramic pieces.

The Swiss Agency for Efficient Energy Use has awarded Keramik Laufen AG its prestigious label for being actively involved in voluntary climate protection. Additionally, Laufen Austria AG- with its production sites at Wilhemsburg and Gmunden- was awarded the EMAS environmental prize for outstanding environmental performance. Overall, Laufen supports and promotes active environmental policies; policies that are embedded in the company’s principles and upheld by our workforce around the world.
cUPC/ASME Compliant
The Uniform Plumbing Code (cUPC) and American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) are trade organizations that cooperatively meet to create mechanical design and test routines for plumbing products. These are trade organizations tasked with creating guidelines for safe and interchangeable products that provide value for consumers and competition among manufacturers. All of Laufen Bathroom ceramic products (unless noted otherwise) meet the design requirements and laboratory testing demands of these organizations. Organizations that provide this testing routine include the International Association of Plumbing and Mechanical Officials (IAPMO Group), which has issued several of Laufen’s certifications.
Warranty
| Laufen branded ceramic products and all bathtubs (acrylic, Santec, Marbond) are warranted against defects in material and/or workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of original purchase. | |

Laufen has developed a revolutionary wall fixation system for WCs, bidets, and urinals. A patent has been lodged. The invisible, easy-to-mount fixation system meets the needs of both fitters and end users.
For example, end users are impressed by a ceramic WC with a flawless surface which is really easy to clean since there’s nowhere for dirt to hide. Fitters are enthusiastic about the time-saving, intuitive mounting system.
